Tempura Batter
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup ice water
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
- Lightly beat the egg with chopsticks
inside a cup measure.
- Pour milk on top of egg to make 2/3 cup(milk plus egg).
- Add flour and stir well until smooth.
- Add water and stir in to make the batter crisper.
Notes:
Good for shrimps, oysters, chicken, and vegetables.
